warning: this post is so long, but so worth the read, i promise :)

as you'll soon figure out, i'm really into shopping. like if shopping was a person, we'd be in a very committed relationship (sorry anthony). i have a few stores that i mainly shop at which i'm sure i'll make a post about at some point, but this post is about a website / app called "wish". if you've never heard of it, this website / app is an asian wholesale type place. there's countless stores selling an abundance of products all for super low prices...(think of forever 21 meets amazon). whether or not this site is legit has been the question i've been left to ponder because this site has very mixed reviews. products on this site consist of men & women's clothing, shoes, makeup, baby items, gadgets, watches, etc etc. one unique thing about wish is that each item has a different shipping price if it is under $25 (items over $25 receive free shipping). shipping varies between $1-$6+ and it usually isn't too bad considering the prices of the items are so cheap, and that it is coming from halfway around the world. a friend of mine and i decided to purchase some items to see whether or not this app was worth the risk of trying, and i'm pleasantly surprised with the results. ultimately, you get what you pay for. this stuff is not the highest quality, and none of it is name brand, but if you're looking for a place to pick up a couple things for cheaper than normal retail price, then this is your type of place. i purchased three items from the app which were a sunflower romper (the one pictured in my last post), a case for my fujifilm instax camera, and a cream lace kimono. i'm going to go through each item, which store i bought it from, the price + shipping, when i received it, and my final opinion of the product with a pictured included. all of these items were purchased on june 16, and i've gotten all of them within ten days which is a lot faster than i was expecting. alright, here we go.

first item on the list : the sunflower romper

this is product i was most excited about receiving because sunflowers are my favorite flowers! if you saw my other post, you will see me wearing the cute item. on the app it is listed as $9 with the shipping price set at $2. they say that the shipping could take anywhere from 10-16 days, and i got it on june 24, so it only took six days to get to me. i absolutely LOVE this romper. the only problem i have with it is that the straps come off easily, but that is such a quick fix, so i'm not worried at all. the packaging was fairly decent, and the store it came from was called "lalang". The item and the store both have really good reviews, so i'd recommend buying from them. i ordered it in a size large because it is coming from asia where the sizes run a lot smaller than they do in the united states...according to other wish app users. better safe than sorry right?
this is the romper paired with a cute black sweater from tillys,
a black hat from forever 21, and madden girl sandals :)

second item on the list: a powder blue fujifilm instax case

i received my blue fujifilm camera for my birthday earlier in the year, and i adore it. i take it with me on all of my trips now, and i've been wanting a case for it to protects it from the elements. i searched 'fujifilm' on the app, and sure enough they had quite the variety of items for my camera such as film, booklets to put your pictures in, and cases. the case i settled on matched my camera perfectly, and from the pictures on the site it showed the top being detachable..that may not make sense, but you'll see what i mean in the pictures. this case was $13 + $3 shipping, and worth the price. the store i ordered it from is called "ac electronic limited", and the item and store both have 4 star ratings, so i would say that's pretty legit. i got this item on the same day as the romper, so it took six days to get here as well. i must say, the case does fit a tad snug on the camera, but it is adorable and comes with a shoulder strap and everything. all of the buttons are accessible and still easy to use. overall, i really like this case, and would recommend it to anyone who has a fujifilm :)
the blue case matches the camera almost perfectly, and the top is detachable

last item on the list: a cream lace kimono

kimono, sweater, blouse, whatever you want to call it. this item cost $10 + $3 shipping, and it arrived at my house in about 7 days. i'm pretty sure i ordered it in a medium, and it fits a little snug in the shoulders, but overall it's great. it's completely lace, and the detail on this kimono is actually quite nice. i was skeptical about this item despite the great reviews because i didn't think it would look as good as it did in the pictures. i was very surprised at how great the quality is. i bought it from a store called "fashionforgirls" (yes, it is written just like that). i cannot wait to wear this out & to school when we go back in august.
this kimono is actually pretty long, and the lace detail + cute pearl buttons
add to the overall quality of the product :)
part one is complete! whew, that wasn't so bad, was it?

i found this gem a few minutes from my house, so naturally i had to snap a few pictures. who knew arizona could still be beautiful despite being 110+ degrees?! i kid you not these were taken at 7:30 pm. long arizona summer nights are what i live for and look forward to every year. anyways, this is my first blog post, super exciting, right? i feel like an introduction is in order. i'm ally! i'm a 17 year old girl living in the warm, sunny state of arizona (i've only mentioned arizona like twice already, so it's pretty obvious), and i love sunflowers, reading, alternative & country music, koalas, and a cute guy named anthony (you'll see his name on here quite a bit). this blog is meant for me to express my thoughts and share fashion tips & beauty tricks as well as display the parts of my life that make me who i am. i can't wait for you to get to know me.

xoxo
